This picture was taken in Jan 2011, it's of Srisailam Dam in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India .The dam is built on Krishna river, mainly used for irrigation and power needs of the state.
Srisailam is a holy town in Andhra Pradesh which has one of the 12 Jyotrirlinga Dedicated to Lord Shiva.
